Anyone using a dual input solar panel source for charging? My xamp just doesnt cut it on warm days and was thinking about a 2nd solar charging solution. Can i have two inout sources connected to the battery posts or could i run into issues?

Question on running fridge. I have 50qt Iceco fridge and noticed when plugged into the Xantrex inverter the power drops pretty quickly and the inverter alarm goes off when it drops below 12v. It only runs about 1-2 hours. I have 100w solar panel connected and two AGM batteries the batteries seem good charging to 13.1 and staying at 12.75 for…

Looking for some feedback on trails in colorado.

We are planing a week trip into colorado Telluride, Ouray, Silverton area this July. There will be 5 different rigs but we will be the only one with a trailer.

Does anyone have experience in the area with towing the TB trailers through the passes?

Since many times I camp with the Turtleback is in a campground, I wanted to run the hot water heater off electric. To do this I built a relay box to sense when there is power and switch from propane to electric. I can also run both if I want hot water in a hurry.

I added a second circuit to the output of the inverter dedicated to the water heater.…

I found a solution to one of the more unpleasant parts of camping, the gotta go bags. I have been using the “poo powder” in a plastic bag, placed in a zip lock second bag before storing in the spare tire bag. At the end of the trip, emptying the spare tire bag of contents was always a job that included unpleasant odors.
